PDFCreator Server 3.3.0 is out
Kategorien:ReleasesThe latest release of PDFCreator Server 3.3.0 features a range of new capabilities and enhancements designed to optimize document management and user administration.
With improved Microsoft integration, enhanced monitoring functionalities, and new feedback options, this updated version of PDFCreator Server delivers a more streamlined and efficient server management experience.
Enhanced Microsoft integration
PDFCreator Server 3.3.0 brings powerful new features for users who rely on Microsoft services for document management and sharing.
- OneDrive integration: Upload files to OneDrive with ease. Choose between creating a private link or a shareable link, and select from multiple Microsoft accounts for flexibility.
- SharePoint support: Upload files directly to SharePoint, ideal for teams collaborating on shared documents in a centralized company space. Whether you need private OneDrive access or shared resources on SharePoint, PDFCreator Server 3.3.0 offers seamless connectivity.
- Email sending: Easily send files through Microsoft Outlook web email services, directly from the app – streamlining your document-sharing processes.
Observer Mode
PDFCreator Server 3.3.0 now makes it easier to monitor activity across your server without requiring full admin privileges. What does this mean? Users can view a comprehensive history of all printing activities, including who printed, and when. This feature is helpful for troubleshooting or simply keeping track of recent activities.
This new feature also means that admins can delegate monitoring tasks to users without granting additional permissions. While users in observer mode can’t make any changes, they’ll have access to real-time status updates, freeing up time for admins.
Feedback options
In this release, we’ve introduced a feedback feature. Administrators can submit feedback to help us improve the product. Your input can drive meaningful changes, ensuring we continue to enhance the product experience. We’d love to hear your ideas, so please share your feedback and help us serve you better!
New user token
User tokens can save you a lot of time and help automate your workflow. To simplify things even further, we have now added the “Delete token.” It’s purpose is simple, to delete the page on which it is placed.
Note: It is good practice to have all the user tokens on the same page, especially if you use the delete token. The deleted page will not affect the other user tokens and they will still do what they have been tasked to.
